BloodTestEasy

Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 21, 2026

BloodTestEasy is a simple, read-only website. You do not create an account, fill out a form, or enter your test results into anything we store. This policy explains, honestly and specifically, what little data is involved when you visit — and what rights you have over it.

What we collect (and what we don't)

Analytics (Google Analytics 4)

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand, in aggregate, which pages people visit — for example, whether more people look up hemoglobin or cholesterol. This helps us decide which explanations to improve. GA4 uses cookies and collects information such as the pages you view, your approximate location (city level), your browser type, and how you arrived at the site.

If you are visiting from the European Union, the European Economic Area, or the United Kingdom, analytics does not run until you accept it through the consent banner. If you decline, or ignore the banner, no analytics cookies are set for you. You can change your choice at any time using the cookie settings link in the site footer.

Google processes analytics data on servers that may be located in the United States. You can read Google's own privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy, and you can block Google Analytics in any browser with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

Server logs

Like almost every website, the company that hosts this site keeps standard server logs. These record the pages requested, the date and time, the IP address the request came from, and the browser used. We use these logs only for security and troubleshooting (for example, spotting an attack or a broken page), and they are deleted on the hosting provider's normal rotation schedule.

A note about page addresses

Some pages on this site include a test name — and sometimes a value — in the page address (for example, a page about a hemoglobin result). Like any page address, these can appear in server logs and, if you accepted the banner, in analytics. This tells us that someone viewed that page. It is not linked to your name or identity, because we do not know who you are.

Your rights under GDPR (EU, EEA, and UK visitors)

Where GDPR or UK GDPR applies, our legal basis for analytics is your consent, and our legal basis for server logs is legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and working. You have the right to:

In practice, we hold almost nothing that could identify you. If you email us with a request, we will respond honestly about what exists (usually: nothing beyond any email you sent us) and act on it.

Your rights under CCPA (California visitors)

If you live in California, you have the right to know what personal information a business collects about you, to request its deletion, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. To be clear: we do not sell or share personal information as defined by the CCPA, and we collect only what is described on this page. To exercise any right, email us, and we will not treat you differently for asking.

Children

This site is written for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect any information from anyone under 18.

Email

If you email us, we will have your email address and whatever you wrote. We use it only to reply, we do not add you to any mailing list, and we delete old correspondence periodically. Please do not include personal health details in an email — we cannot interpret results, and email is not a secure channel for health information.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the site works in a way that affects your privacy, we will update this page and change the date at the top. We will not quietly start collecting more than what is described here.

Advertising (Google AdSense)

We show ads through Google AdSense to keep the site free. AdSense may set cookies and, depending on your consent choice and region, show either personalized or non-personalized ads. If you are visiting from the EU or UK, no Google advertising or analytics scripts load until you accept them in the consent banner — declining keeps the site fully usable without them. You can review how Google uses data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and manage ad personalization at adssettings.google.com.

Who is responsible for this site

The controller responsible for this website and any data processing described here is EPSILON WEBCRAFTS LLC, 271 W. Short St Ste 410 #1522, Lexington, KY 40507, USA.
